1. CREATING A FACTION

To create a Faction, obviously you need to be without any faction.

"Cost to Create Faction: $10,000,000" (Not War Chips required).

You will need to give it a name. I suggest you decide carefully the name before start a faction. You won't change it once made, so be sure the name fits your choices.

Once started your faction, you will have a Level Zero Faction with 15 spots, so you can now recruit till 14 members to start your Faction activity.

Warning: Until you get 5 members (including you) you won't be allowed to attack any other faction, but other factions can attack your, so you could get defensive faction battles.

Remember as well: Once you setted a name it cannot be changed, so take a name carefully.

2. FACTION MEMBERS - RECRUITING

There are three Faction Members Ranks:
- The Leader.
- The Officers.
- Standard Members.

All Faction Ranks gets the same amount of Tokens and Loyalty, depending on their activity.

The maximum amount of members depends on the Faction Level as it is showed in the Table in the Chapter 7 of this guide.

2.1. Faction Leader:

The Faction Leader is the one who founded the faction, but after that, any leader can promote another member transferring him the leadership.

The only one who can promote others, is the Faction Leader. That is possible in the "INFO" option in the FACTION section (FACTION>INFO). Then the Faction Leader will find an arrow before each member... the Up arrow will promote him and the down arrow will demote.

The Faction Leader can start a War against any other Faction showed in the Menu.

If the Faction Leader leave the Faction, the next one Faction Officer showed in the Faction roll will be automatically promoted to Faction Leader (In case the Old Leader didn't promoted anyone).

2.2. Faction Officer:

To get that rank, the Faction Leader must promote a faction member.

A Faction Officer can:
- Start a Faction Battle as the Leader.
- Send an invite to any WM Player to join the Faction as the Leader.

A Faction Officer cannot promote or demote other members.

2.3. Standard Member:

A member has no privileges, so cannot start a battle and neither invite anyone to join the Faction.

Any Faction Officer can start a new battle against any other Faction (only one offensive battle is allowed at time, so if you want start a new one, you will need wait till the currently one ends)

3. JOINING A FACTION

To join a Faction a WM player need fill those requirements:

a. Be friended in Facebook with the Faction Leader or Faction officer who will send him the invite.

b. Be allied with him in War Metal.

c. Be outfactioned. Someone who were currently in any other Faction, will need to leave first his current one before be allowed to join the new one.

d. A player cannot join a Faction if the Faction has a current Faction Battle.

e. A player who was dismissed or left a Faction, cannot return until 24 hours since he left.

4. FACTION BATTLES

A Faction Battle takes 6 hours. The Faction achieving at the end the highest amount of Faction Points will win.

To attack another Faction you need at least 5 members in your Faction.

5. DEFENSIVE AND OFENSIVE BATTLES

At the same time, any Faction can have only ONE Offensive battle (Attacking)

There is no limit to the Defensive battles amount (Defending)

The one who can start a battle is the Leader or any Officer.

No one can be kicked from the Faction while a Battle is active. This was added by Devs to disable cheating.

6. FAST ACCESS TO THE FACTION SECTION

Once you are in a Faction, you can go to the Faction Section following this path:

BATTLES >> FACTIONS >> Then you get the site, with 4 options and showing the current battles.

But you can get there clicking the Fast Link that shows as an arrow above the Epic Bosses fast link, in the right side of the WM Screen.

8. FACTION POINTS

When a Faction gets a victory against other Faction, the winner gets certain amount of Faction Points (FP), and the loser lose certain amount of FP.

If the winner was so under-ranked respect the loser, then the amount of FP rewarded will be higher (around 6 to 8) and the loser Faction will gets a higher lose (around -2 to -3)

The standard FP reward and penalties for Victory/Defeat is +5 (to the Victorious)/ -1 (To the Defeated)

9. FACTION LEVEL

Once a Faction gets the needed amount of FP, will promote to the next Faction Level, getting a higher amount of player slots and higher rewards according the FACTION INFO TABLE from point 7.

10. FACTION TOKENS

You can earn Faction tokens every time your Faction WON a faction battle and you achieved some activity.
The amount of tokens won is 1 to 4 FT (Faction Tokens), and that will depend on the total Loyalty amount you have.

This activity could be in attack or defense (you could be AFK but if you got involved in an enemy attack, then you will achieve activity).

HOW TO GET MAXIMUN TOKENS? (4 FT/victory):

You need to fill the following requirements to get the maximum tokens from a faction battle:

a. Complete the Loyalty Progress bar (Battle >>> Factions >>> Info) The Loyalty points required are more the higher the level faction were. Until you get the loyalty progression completed, you will get only less than 4 tokens by each victory. Once your loyalty progression gets full, you will get 4 tokens from each victory.

b. (Obviously) your faction must win the battle.

c. Your faction activity bar must be full. If your faction win, but the activity was not enough, the tokens rewarded won't be the maximum (4 tokens)

d. You must achieve any activity in the battle (a single win or lose is enough, even if that was in defensive hit and you were away from the keyboard)

11. LOYALTY POINTS

This is a number that match the amount of victories that the member achieved in Faction Battles. This number is made with both: wins in attack or defense.

Note that you can be absolutely passive/ inactive and always you get a defensive victory your loyalty will raise.

There is a loyalty progression bar. Until you completed the Loyalty progression you won't get the 4 total Faction Tokens that you could earn from each victory. This progression will be bigger the higher the Faction Level was.

Once your loyalty progression gets full, you will get 4 tokens from each victory.

IF you leave your Faction, your Loyalty Progression gets reduced to ZERO.

12. FACTION UNITS

There are two types of Faction Units:

12.1. Faction Units Reinforcements.

The Units Reinforcements are a Bonus that will support the Faction in battles depending the amount of players slots the faction have filled. This represents the "overwhelming" effect made by a largest faction.

Note: Those "units" only shows in the battle log in Faction battles. Those are not units acquired out the Factions or as Collections and cannot be equipped or unequipped.

Gatling Turret. Requires a 25% of total slots filled
Rail Cannon. Requires a 50% of total slots filled
Xenobomber. Requires a 75% of total slots filled

12.2. Faction Units Collectables.

The Faction Units Collectables are awarded by trading the Faction Tokens required for each one in the Armory>> Colections>> Faction. In time, the collectible units will be included in this Page with their stats..
